Our Fog & Light Cabernet is as tantalizing as its name. Aromas of blackberry, elderberry and plum meet dense ripe black fruit flavors with hints of tobacco and cedar. Full-bodied and structured, the integrated tannins lead into a smooth and savory finish. This wine can be enjoyed today, or cellared for a special occasion.

Paso Robles
The Paso Robles appellation is located in the heart of California’s Central Coast, midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Paso’s exceptional climate is heavily influenced by the surrounding mountain ranges and cooling proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Morning fog makes way for abundant sunshine in the afternoon, followed by the return of fog pushing inland at night, an elegant daily dance.
The natural cooling of the vineyards slows the ripening process, creating greater flavor development in the grapes. The result is dense ripe fruit flavors and an elegant, age-worthy, award-winning Cabernet.
Dave Nagengast, Winemaker of Fog & Light, is a veteran vintner of the Central Coast of California. Over the course of his three decades making wine, he’s had the opportunity to work with a broad range of grape varietals, vineyards and climates.
Dave is a firm believer that great wines are made in the vineyard. He sees his role as winemaker to allow the character and pure expression of each varietal and unique vineyard site to shine.
Dave chose Paso Robles as the sweet spot for Fog & Light Cabernet Sauvignon. Here the warm days beautifully ripen this classic varietal, while the cool nights allow the vines a reprieve from their hard day’s work.
